Belajar Matematika dengan Media Komik di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penyelidikan ini berusaha untuk memeriksa: (1) pemanfaatan media komik dalam konteks pendidikan matematika sekolah dasar, (2) potensi media komik untuk meningkatkan kemanjuran pengajaran matematika di lingkungan sekolah dasar. Penyelidikan ini mengadopsi pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dan mencakup tiga fase investigasi yang berbeda. Media komik pendidikan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini disesuaikan agar sesuai dengan kerangka instruksional yang dikenal sebagai model CTL dengan pendekatan tongkat bicara, model Pjbl yang menampilkan elemen menari bambu, dan model CTL yang menggabungkan dinamika lemparan bola salju. Adaptasi media komik selaras dengan model instruksional spesifik yang digunakan di setiap fase. Akibatnya, karena berbagai model instruksional yang digunakan, struktur pembelajaran matematika di seluruh studi ini menunjukkan perbedaan bernuansa. Terlepas dari keragaman dalam pendekatan instruksional, temuan yang konsisten muncul dari ketiga studi: dampak menguntungkan dari media komik pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan matematika di tingkat dasar. Kesimpulan inti yang diambil dari penelitian ini ada dua: (1) Komik diperkenalkan pada awal proses pembelajaran, mendorong siswa untuk terlibat dengan konten dan membangun pemahaman konseptual melalui media komik. (2) Media komik menunjukkan potensi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran matematika.
