Isolasi Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder pada Beberapa Hewan Bahari

Abstract

Biota laut merupakan suatu bahan alam baik hewan maupun tumbuhan yang biasanya tersebar di lautan dan memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kehidupan salah satunya dibidang kesehatan karena mengandung senyawa metabolit yang memilki efek farmakologi. Tujuan review artikel ini dibuat untuk mengetahui senyawa metabolit sekunder pada beberapa hewan bahari melalui proses isolasi sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang kesehatan. Metode review artikel ini adalah tinjauan literatur yang bersumber pada pencarian database seperti google scholar. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada beberapa hewan bahari melalui serangkaian proses isolasi menunjukan bahwa senyawa alkaloid dapat ditemukan pada teripang pasir Holothuria scabra, spons Stylotella sp., dan karang laut Sarcophyton sp,, sedangkan untuk senyawa terpenoid bisa didapatkan pada spons Petrosia sp.
