Abstract

A vegetação é de extrema importância para manutenção da biodiversidade e proteção dos solos. Com crescimento humano desordenado e um padrão de consumo que são sustentados por um modelo econômico altamente predatório, que prima pelo o uso irresponsável dos recursos naturais, torna-se necessário o estudo de determinadas áreas para analisar as modificações ocorridas. Nesse sentindo aplicação de índices de vegetação se torna primordial para analisar as mudanças ocorridas na cobertura vegetal. Partindo desse pressuposto, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo realizar o mapeamento da degradação da cobertura vegetal do município de Saloá - PE nos anos de 2004, 2010 e 2016 utilizando-se do Geoprocessamento e do Sensoriamento Remoto para obtenção de resultados. Concluindo-se que o NDVI possibilitou a obtenção de dados para o mapeamento da vegetação dos anos propostos com grande qualidade, bem como o município de Saloá – PE sofreu intermediarias variações nos períodos analisados.Palavras-chave: Saloá; Degradação da vegetação; NDVI. RESUMENLa vegetación es extremadamente importante para mantener la biodiversidad y proteger el suelo. Con un crecimiento humano desordenado y un patrón de consumo respaldado por un modelo económico altamente depredador, que lucha por el uso irresponsable de los recursos naturales, es necesario estudiar ciertas áreas para analizar los cambios que han ocurrido. En este sentido, la aplicación de los índices de vegetación se vuelve primordial para analizar los cambios ocurridos en la cubierta vegetal. En base a esta suposición, el presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo mapear la degradación de la cubierta vegetal en el municipio de Saloá - PE en 2004, 2010 y 2016 utilizando geoprocesamiento y teledetección para obtener resultados. En conclusión, el NDVI permitió obtener datos para el mapeo de la vegetación de los años propuestos con alta calidad, así como el municipio de Saloá - PE experimentó variaciones intermedias en los períodos analizados.Palabras llave: Saloá; Degradación de la vegetación; NDVI. ABSTRACTVegetation is extremely important for maintaining biodiversity and protecting soil. In this sense application of vegetation indices becomes primordial to analyze the changes occurred in the vegetation cover. Based on this assumption, the present work aimed to map the degradation of the vegetation cover of the municipality of Saloá - PE in 2004, 2010 and 2016 using Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing to obtain results. In conclusion, NDVI made it possible to obtain data for the mapping of the vegetation of the proposed years with high quality, as well as the municipality of Saloá - PE underwent intermediate variations in the analyzed periods.Keywords: Saloá; Vegetation degradation; NDVI.
