Ambientalismo e ecoturismo

Abstract

Muito vem sido falado, nos últimos anos, sobre a chamada “questão ambiental” e os possíveis rumos os quais o planeta poderá seguir no que diz respeito aos seus níveis de qualidade ambiental. O movimento ambientalista tem sido um dos grandes atores nessas constantes discussões, ao mesmo tempo em que vem passando por constantes mudanças e agregando cada vez mais facetas e adeptos. Por outro lado, o Ecoturismo tem sido enxergado como uma aposta para a melhoria da questão ambiental e como uma ferramenta de conscientização de pessoas no que tange essa problemática. O presente artigo tem por objetivo apresentar uma breve explanação a respeito do histórico e de alguns dos diferentes aspectos do movimento ambientalista em sua correlação ao Ecoturismo, percebendo as reais potencialidades e entraves da atividade para o alcance de uma real conscientização ambiental.
