Literaturas africanas de expressão portuguesa e a oralidade

Abstract

Cada literatura nacional africana tem suas características peculiares, o que as faz desenvolver-se de acordo com formas estéticas e linguísticas da região na qual ela é construída. Ressalte-se que as diferenças entre as literaturas africanas resultam não só das diferenças étnicas existentes entre as nações desse continente, mas sobretudo, devido às diferenças linguístico-culturais (LEITE, 2012). Essas diferenças são percebidas nos textos literários, uma vez que o autor desses textos traz a sua identidade cultural para sua obra. Isso nos faz lembrar das literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa, já que, conforme Leite (2012, p.34), essas literaturas “encontraram maneiras próprias de dialogar com as “tradições”, intertextualizando-as, obtusamente, no corpo linguístico”. Diante disso, temos como objetivo, no presente trabalho, fazermos algumas considerações sobre as literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa, tendo como foco principal as literaturas angolana e moçambicana. Para tanto, basear-nos-emos em Leite (2012), Ferreira (1977), dentre outros. Finalmente, é importante ressaltar, em primeira mão, que as literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa tornaram-se, além de tudo, um espaço propício para as populações africanas contestarem contra o colonialismo europeu.
