Salud integral de la mujer

Abstract

Con el transcurrir de la pandemia por COVID-19, la actividad académica se tornó dificultosa desde lo presencial, por lo que decidimos, desde la Cátedra Libre de Salud de la Mujer (UNLP), que la vía virtual sería la salida efectiva para la continuidad. Así se desarrolló en 2020 el I Congreso Internacional Virtual e Interdisciplinario de Salud de la Mujer, expresión que nucleó a 2.500 inscriptos de todo el mundo. Posteriormente, surgió la idea de escribir un libro que reuniera la mayoría de los ejes desarrollados en el Congreso, no en su totalidad por su estructura, aunque sí con temáticas relacionadas directa o indirectamente con el título de la obra: <i>Salud de la Mujer. Enfoque interdisciplinario de su proceso de atención</i>. Significó entonces que autores de distintos estamentos académicos, tanto de Argentina como de otros países, aceptaran participar en una tarea de magnitud inesperada: la interdisciplinar.
