MOISÉS E O PRINCÍPIO DA DIGNIDADE DA PESSOA HUMANA

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o Princípio Jurídico da Dignidade da Pessoa Humana, sustentáculo das sociedades desenvolvidas democráticas modernas, e sua relação direta com uma personagem famigerada na tradição judaico-cristã: Moisés. Veremos que por mais moderno que este princípio seja no mundo, já se ouviam seus rumores na antiguidade, aqui delimitado o período final da “escravidão” do povo hebreu no Egito e sua “interferência” na jornada de Moisés desde sua juventude ao seu retorno para o grande cisma hebreu. Destacamos ainda, segundo o livro sagrado judaico-cristão, a bíblia, cronologicamente Moisés sob forte influência do Princípio analisado. Dedicou-se sinteticamente à exposição deste princípio jurídico “novo” em nosso ordenamento, porém, antigo em outras tradições que nem sequer ousavam nominá-lo.
