Abstract

El principio de inmanencia, fundador de la semiótica, sufre numerosas críticas por parte de las diversas disciplinas comprometidas en el terreno de la significación, y, de esta forma, se espera de la semiótica tanto que conozca los límites de su axioma como que juzgue la pertinencia de estas objeciones. Este artículo propone, conforme a dicha perspectiva, una lectura de la obra del poeta Michel Deguy, quien formula la exigencia, a la vez lógica y moral, de transformar los límites del inmanentismo en un imperativo ético. Más allá de un acercamiento subjetivista y mediante un regreso hacia la noción de convención, la poesía devela el vínculo vital entre el sentido y el espacio intersubjetivo que lo acoge y lo garantiza.
