ANALISIS PENURUNAN KUAT TEKAN DAN KUAT LENTUR BETON YANG MENGUNAKAN BEKISTING KAYU

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pemakaian bekisting kayu terhadap penurunan kuat tekan dan kuat lentur pada beton normal K.275. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen di laboratorium dengan menggunakan sampel kubus beton dengan ukuran 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm untuk kuat tekan dan balok ukuran 15 cm x 15 cm x 60 cm untuk kuat lentur. Mix Design menggunakan metode DOE (Department of the Environment) dengan f’C rencana K.275. Variasi bekisting kayu adalah kayu balai dan kayu sengon. Sedangkan sebagai pembanding adalah beton normal yang menggunakan bekisting besi. Bahan yang digunakan adalah semen tipe I (Semen Padang), Pasir ex. 3 Ilir yang memenuhi batas gradasi zona 2, Split ex. Merak dengan ukuran butir maksimum 20 mm dan air. Proses pengujian meliputi uji tekan dan uji lentur menggunakan alat compression testing machine. Hasil analisis menunjukkan hasil kuat tekan beton normal adalah 298,996 kg/cm2 (BN), sedangkan kuat tekan beton yang menggunakan bekisting kayu sengon adalah 172.064 kg/cm2 dan kuat tekan beton yang menggunakan bekisting kayu balai 209.838 kg/cm2. Hasil kuat lentur beton normal adalah 33.41 kg/cm2 (BN) dan hasil kuat lentur beton dengan bekisting kayu sengon 37.84 kg/cm2 dan hasil kuat lentur beton yang menggunakan bekisting kayu balai adalah 30.08 kg/cm2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi penurunan kuat tekan beton sebesar 42.45% untuk beton yang menggunakan bekisting kayu sengon dan penurunan sebesar 29.82% untuk beton yang menggunakan bekisting kayu balai. Sedangkan hasil kuat lentur, terjadi peningkatan kuat lentur sebesar 13.26% untuk bekisting kayu sengon dan terjadi penurunan sebesar 9.96% untuk bekisting kayu balai.  Kata Kunci : Kuat Tekan, Kuat Lentur, Bekisting, Kayu Sengon dan Kayu Balai
