Abstract

En el ámbito educativo es resulta innegable la importancia del desarrollo de competencias digitales, tanto en docentes como en estudiantes, si se busca el fortalecimiento del proceso de aprendizaje, y con ello una enseñanza de calidad. Premisa que motivó el desarrollo de este artículo con el objetivo de describir las competencias digitales necesarias para la práctica pedagógica efectiva en docentes. Se precisa que metodológicamente, es una investigación descriptiva guiada por un diseño de tipo documental bibliográfico. Con los resultados del análisis se puede enunciar que el docente debe poseer un conocimiento profundamente comprobado en torno a las TIC´s, a fin de que su mediación y quehacer pedagógico, les posibilite a los estudiantes vivenciar procesos de aprendizajes con los que puedan desarrollar las capacidades y competencias necesarias para enfrentar las situaciones y circunstancias de la realidad que se vive en la actualidad.
