Aproximación al análisis del "contrafactum" musical mediante el estudio instrumental de caso en la Misa Castellana en Valladolid

Abstract

Este trabajo de investigación surge a partir de la observación de una serie de prácticas de manifestaciones musicales con contrafactum observadas en las parroquias de la Archidiócesis de Valladolid durante el periodo de tiempo comprendido entre los años 2002-2008. Se observó cómo en este repertorio se tomaban fragmentos de melodías conocidas de ámbitos no religiosos y se incluían en los momentos de celebración de la liturgia cambiando la letra y adaptando los temas a las necesidades del texto y de los integrantes del coro que las ejecutaban. Se ha seleccionado la Misa Castellana para realizar un estudio instrumental de caso (Stake 1995) que permitiera analizar un caso particular (de una obra unitaria que apela a un ritmo o tradición histórica o cuyos autores apelan o dicen hacerlo, formada por un cuerpo de 9 canciones) para obtener mayor comprensión sobre el contrafactum entendido como estilo compositivo y como fenómeno estético.
