¿Adictos a las calificaciones?... (2.ª parte)

Abstract

Desde hace tiempo el Sistema de Evaluación Nacional por medio de la Secretaría de Educación aplica, en nuestras escuelas primarias, exámenes para las “Olimpiadas del Conocimiento” y para otras competencias, con el fin de “evaluar las nociones” adquiridas por nuestros niños. Y después de comparar los resultados obtenidos por una escuela con los de otra, los de una zona escolar con otra, los de una ciudad con otra, los de un estado con otro y los de un país con otro, muestran a la opinión pública dichos resultados, que casi siempre aparecen desalentadores (de acuerdo a los parámetros que arbitrariamente se eligieron para calificar). A propósito de estos hechos, y otros tantos que se presentan en el interior de varias escuelas, comparto con ustedes algunas reflexiones que continuo del número anterior (RIE 38/7).
