Los usos policiales del derecho

Abstract

Este artículo indaga cómo el derecho y la administración de justicia configuran las tareas cotidianas de los oficiales de la Policía Bonaerense y qué saberes jurídicos despliegan para articular su labor con el poder judicial. A partir de 17 entrevistas realizadas en 2021 a personal policial de diversas jerarquías en la ciudad de Mar del Plata, se analizan las formas en que interpretan, aplican y negocian las normas legales, así como los desafíos formativos y las tensiones con las exigencias procesales. El enfoque metodológico es cualitativo y comprende un trabajo de campo que combina entrevistas semiestructuradas y observación participante. Los hallazgos muestran que, lejos de ser ejecutores de la ley, los oficiales construyen en la práctica el sentido de la norma, mediando entre su rol como auxiliares de la justicia, las demandas de la comunidad y sus propias lógicas institucionales.
