
New species of orchid bees, eleven from Brazil and one from Ecuador, are here described, two in the genus Eufriesea (Ef. aequatoriana sp. nov. and Ef. patrice sp. nov.), seven in Euglossa (Euglossa) (Eg. aeneolusa sp. nov., Eg. caruaruensis sp. nov., Eg. cuprina sp. nov., Eg. insula sp. nov., Eg. irisa sp. nov., Eg. paraocularis sp. nov., and Eg. pumilia sp. nov.), two in Euglossa (Glossurella) (Eg. tibialis sp. nov. and Eg. trinodonta sp. nov.), and one Eg. (Glossurodes) rotundata sp. nov
