Extracción de hemolinfa por punción cardiaca: herramienta investigativa en Grammostola spp. (Araneae: Theraphosidae)

Abstract

Este estudio se centra en la recolección y análisis de hemolinfa de ejemplares adultos de arañas pertenecientes al género Grammostola, específicamente aquellos comercializados como G. porteri. Utilizando la técnica de punción cardiaca, se logró obtener hemolinfa sin causar daño permanente a los arácnidos, lo que representa una alternativa ética a los métodos tradicionales de extracción que requieren la amputación de extremidades. Los resultados morfológicos confirmaron que los ejemplares presentaban características típicas del género Grammostola. Los componentes proteicos de la hemolinfa fueron analizados, mostrando una predominancia de bandas a los 70 y 25 kDa, los hemocitos recuperados fueron principalmente de tipo granulocitos y los análisis filogenéticos permitieron agrupar las diferentes familias y géneros dentro del suborden Mygalomorphae. Además, se discutieron las implicaciones de los hallazgos en la taxonomía de G. porteri, corroborando su clasificación como sinónimo de G. rosea. Este estudio no solo contribuye a la comprensión de la diversidad y sistemática de las tarántulas en Chile, sino que también propone un enfoque innovador para la recolección de material genético, promoviendo prácticas más sostenibles en la investigación aracnológica.
