
Se registra por primera vez la depredación del escorpión Centruroides bicolor (Pocock, 1898) (Buthidae) por el geco de cola de nabo Thecadactylus rapicauda (Houttuyn, 1782) (Phyllodactylidae), y del geco Hemidactylus frenatus Dumeril y Bibron, 1836 (Gekkonidae), por Centruroides edwardsii (Gervais, 1843). El primer caso fue observado en Costa Rica y el segundo, en Nicaragua. También se registra el primer evento de necrofagia en escorpiones, ocurrido en condiciones naturales. Se incluye una lista de los casos de depredación entre escorpiones y reptiles (Squamata) registrados en Centroamérica.
