Abstract

Se determinó la diversidad de Andrenidae, Colletidae y Megachilidae en una sección del Bosque Serrano de Córdoba, Argentina (31°10’ S, 64°20’ O) y se analizó el aprovechamiento por parte de ellas de los recursos florales en esta zona. Se realizaron ocho muestreos mensuales entre septiembre 2018 y marzo 2020. Se registró la diversidad de plantas presentes, cantidad de flores disponibles, diversidad de abejas y sus patrones de actividades, mecanismos de búsqueda y obtención de los recursos de las flores visitadas. Se recolectaron 192 ejemplares pertenecientes a las familias Andrenidae (3,12%, n=6, especie: 1), Colletidae (17,88%, n=34, especies: 5) y Megachilidae (79,16%, n=152, especies: 5). Las abejas utilizan como recursos florales unas 11 familias y 28 especies de angiospermas (principalmente Apiaceae, Asteraceae, Fabaceae, Lamiaceae, Malvaceae y Solanaceae). Durante el estudio no hubo diferencias en la diversidad de especies de plantas disponibles para las abejas en los distintos años. Se identificaron diferencias entre los años del estudio, en relación con el uso de recursos florales por parte de las abejas. Las especies de abejas más generalistas fueron predominantes en el área de estudio.
