Abstract

Se registra por primera vez la presencia de la araña Zygiella x-notata (Clerck) para la Región de Tarapacá (Chile), con base en ejemplares capturados en roqueríos costeros (rompeolas) de la ciudad de Iquique. Se discute acerca de la colonización de esta especie en este tipo de estructuras costeras artificiales y su posible expansión al resto de la ciudad.
