
Se describen e ilustran seis nuevas especies y una nueva subespecie del género Agrilus Curtis: A. arriagadai sp. nov. y A. golondrinus sp. nov. de Argentina; A. boto sp. nov., A. koikei sp. nov. y A. coronatus sp. nov. de Brasil; A. uyapi sp. nov. y A. suavis deerratus ssp. nov. de Bolivia. Adicionalmente, la validez del género Agrilodia Obenberger fue evaluada, reconociendo un carácter que permite diferenciar a este género de otros taxones similares. En base al estudio de ejemplares tipo y no tipo de Agrilodia se proponen los siguientes cambios taxonómicos: Agrilodia picta (Kerremans, 1897) comb. nov. como sinónimo senior de Agrilodia leopardina Obenberger, 1943 sin. nov., y Agrilodia paraguayensis Obenberger, 1923 como sinónimo senior de Agriloides giganteus Curletti y Pineda, 2019 sin. nov.
