Abstract

Se describe una nueva especie de Ectinogonia Spinola de Chile, Ectinogonia aymara sp. nov., registrada sólo en los valles pre-puneños de la Región de Arica y Parinacota. Para preservar la estabilidad nomenclatural, se designa el lectotipo y se identifica un paralectotipo de Ectinogonia pulverea Kerremans, 1919; adicionalmente se revalida la especie Ectinogonia cyaniventris Olave, 1936 stat. rev. desde la sinonimia con E. pulverea. Se proveen fotografías del lectotipo y paralectotipo de E. pulverea, y se ilustran los habitus, caracteres morfológicos externos y detalles de los órganos genitales del macho y la hembra de E. aymara y E. cyaniventris.
