PARÁMETROS GENÉTICOS DE TOMATE DE CÁSCARA (Physalis ixocarpa Brot.) VARIEDAD VERDE PUEBLA

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo fue estimar los parámetros genéticos de la variedad Verde Puebla de tomate de cáscara (Physalis ixocarpa Brot.). Se evaluaron 100 familias de medios hermanos maternos en Chapingo, Tecamac y Santa Lucía, Edo. de México, en el ciclo primavera-verano del 2000, en un diseño experimental de bloques completos al azar con tres repeticiones y 11 plantas por unidad experimental. La heredabilidad de los siete caracteres estudiados fluctuó entre 31.9 y 68.7 %, y el coeficiente de variación genético aditivo entre 13.7 y 29.6 %, con 57.2 y 29.6 % para rendimiento total. Se encontraron correlaciones genéticas aditivas altas y positivas del rendimiento total con número de frutos amarrados (0.86), rendimiento en el primer corte (0.97), rendimiento en el segundo corte (0.98) y número de frutos cosechados por planta (0.88), por lo que éstos se consideran los componentes más importantes del rendimiento.
