PROBLEMAS CON LINEAS ENDOGAMICAS. IV. COANCESTRIA DENTRO DE LlNEAS Y ENTRE LINEAS HERMANAS

Abstract

Se derivan las fórmulas para encontrar la coancestría entre individuos de una misma línea endogámica y entre líneas hermanas (o sublíneas) de una línea, para tres tipos de líneas: autofecundadas, fraternales y mesofraternales. En uno y otro caso, la fórmula es 1/4 ( 1 + 2Ft, x + Ft-1, x) para la generación endogámica t de las líneas y para el sistema regular de endogamia x. Se discute la relación entre la ancestrfa así calculada y la heterosis esperada entre líneas hermanas; conforme avanza el proceso endogámico de las líneas, la heterosis es incrementada por la reducción del valor genético de las sublineas y no por un incremento del valor genético promedio de las cruzas simples, el cual es constante para cualquier valor de endogamia de las líneas. Se menciona también el uso general de las coancestrías en el cálculo de la endogamia de variedades sintéticas.
