Abstract

W artykule Autorzy definiują zmiany, jakie dokonują się we współczesnym paradygmacie bezpieczeństwa. Dostrzegając zmiany w sposobie wykorzystania potencjału militarnego i siły oddziaływania ekonomicznego, stwierdzają, iż w wspólnota transatlantycka dokonała znaczącego przeobrażenia w strategii globalnego oddziaływania. W ich opinii następuje zmniejszenie roli czynnika militarnego (siły militarnej) na korzyść siły gospodarczej. Z tego względu jednym z najważniejszych problemów współczesnej polityki bezpieczeństwa staje się kwestia związku przyczynowo-skutkowego występującego między gospodarką a poziomem obronności państw wspólnoty transatlantyckiej
