Translenguar y las lenguas minoritarias

Abstract

Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la situación de las lenguas minoritarias, con especial énfasis en el euskera, en el ámbito social y educativo, a partir de la perspectiva pedagógica de translenguar. El enfoque principal se centra en el euskera en la Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco en el estado español. En primer lugar, se examina la evolución del número de hablantes de euskera en los últimos años y su relación con las políticas lingüísticas de las distintas áreas. Posteriormente, se aborda el reto que supone el uso del euskera tanto en la sociedad como en el ámbito escolar. A continuación, se expone la diferencia entre los enfoques monolingües y multilingües en la enseñanza de lenguas, así como las características de translenguar pedagógicamente. Finalmente, se subraya la necesidad de crear espacios dedicados exclusivamente al uso de lenguas minoritarias, como el euskera, para garantizar su uso."
