Das Projekt ARGUS hatte das Ziel, durch den Einsatz moderner KI-Technologien die Teilhabe blinder und sehbehinderter Menschen am alltäglichen Leben zu verbessern. Im Mittelpunkt standen die Entwicklung eines Produkterkennungsmoduls auf Basis von Deep Learning sowie einer Indoor-Navigationslösung mit Echtzeit-3D-Kartierung.
