Criatividade e educação

Abstract

A criatividade constitui-se como uma das funções basilares do funcionamento humano, sendo que dela dependerá a ampliação do leque de experiências e conhecimento a que o sujeito psicológico humano tem acesso durante o seu processo de «fazer mundo». Assim se compreende a relação entre criatividade e educação, uma vez que, durante os períodos mais críticos do seu desenvolvimento, esta se encontra plenamente comprometida com o sistema educativo. Partindo das influências de Vygotsky (1917/1998, 1930/2004), Piaget (1945/1975), Kegan (1982), Housen (1983), Parsons (1987), Goodman (1968/2006, 1978/1995), Gardner (1996), Amabile (1983), Sternberg e Lubart (1991) e Csikszentmihalyi (1999), a discussão teórica apresentada explora criticamente o potencial da educação artística no desenvolvimento da criatividade, considerando a sua inclusão nos curricula educativos como fundamental, uma vez que a arte introduz uma diferenciação qualitativa única, que promove o acesso a uma visão singular da realidade e potencia o processo de complexificação das estruturas cognitivas.
