Abstract

Neste texto procuramos salientar as potencialidades da investigação-acção como suporte ao desenvolvimento profissional dos professores/educadores. A utilização da investigaçãoacção em contexto educacional assenta no reconhecimento dos professores, enquanto actores e autores, envolvendo-os na investigação sobre a sua prática, na consequente produção de teorização sobre as suas opções educativas e na valorização das suas lógicas conceptuais. Nesta análise salientam-se as características da investigação-acção que contribuem para a mudança educativa ao potenciarem nomeadamente as dinâmicas colaborativas e contextualizadas, a indagação e reflexão permanente, a reconstrução do conhecimento praxiológico, bem como o envolvimento participativo dos actores e o impulso democrático. Palavras-chave: Investigação-acção; desenvolvimento profissional; mudança educativa.
