Gry komputerowe jako poligon. Propozycje dydaktyki szkół służb mundurowych

Abstract

The author presented in the article several proposals for didactics in uniformed services secondary and high schools, utilizing computer games. Both such games and a physical training ground are defined in this paper within the context of the pandemic – it is connected with their practical use. This text can be classified as a model of performative education, or as a case study of visual history in action. Attention was drawn to simulation video games (simulators), especially simulators of the work of a soldier or a police officer. It is essential that the teachers relate to pupils/students-players experiences – it concerns not only teachers of specialist subjects (military education, police education), but also mandatory humanities, including history and civic education.
