Folklorlaşan Hz. Hüseyin ve Kerbela Olayı

Abstract

İmam Hüseyin ve Kerbela olayının sözlü ortama getirilmesi hafızalarda yaşayan tarihin, olup bitmiş olayların anlatıldığı özel metinlerdir. Hz. Hüseyin’in celâl makamı, hak batıl savaşı bağlamında mücadelesinin folklorik bir örtüye bürünmesi araştırılacak, onunla ilgili anlatılar incelenecektir.

The folklorization of Imam Husayn and Karbala are special faith-based texts in which history lives in memories and the events that have happened are told. In short, it is completely folklore with its laments, elegies, maqtals, legends, tales, rituals, and Shabih performances. The events that took place in the triangle of Muharremlik , Karbala and Hazrat Husayn, is a new product of folk literature that we call ‘religious folklore’. Religious folklore is among the modern sciences such as anthropology, phenomenology, psychology, ethnology, and philosophy of religion. However, it is useful to note a fine detail here. It is not a matter of folklore in religion, but a matter of religious folklore. When approached from this perspective, the concept of religious folklore gains a different meaning from phenomenology, anthropology, and philosophy of religion. The latters study what exists in religion but religious folklore deals with bringing stories and events into the verbal environment with folkloric rules and legends, and studies rumours and Shabih folk theatre in this context. In oral literature, Hazrat Husayn sometimes gets rid of his historical personality and became a hero of myth. In this article, the folkloric veil of Husayn’s maqām of jelāl , his struggle in the battle of truth and falsehood, and the narratives about him will be examined.
