Bem-estar na bovinocultura leiteira: revisão de literatura

Abstract

A qualidade do leite é um elemento que impacta diretamente na lucratividade do leite e também na vida do consumidor, deste modo é um elemento importante para o âmbito dos animais de produção. As pesquisas de bem-estar animal são cada vez mais desenvolvidas internacionalmente, no entanto, no cenário brasileiro ainda existe resistência por parte dos produtores, que muitas vezes questionam o retorno financeiro deste tipo de investimento. Com isso, ao analisar a relação entre esses dois elementos, este artigo possui como escopo disseminar a importância do bem-estar animal e de que pesquisas sejam desenvolvidas em âmbito nacional para amparar as necessidades dos bovinos de leite de acordo com as características ambientais do Brasil. Objetivou-se com este trabalho reunir informações sobre bovinocultura leiteira e os efeitos da intensificação no bem-estar animal.
