Abstract

Los objetivos del trabajo de investigación, fueron evaluar y seleccionar las líneas y sus cruzas más sobresalientes con base al rendimiento de grano, caracteres agronómicos y efectos de aptitud combinatoria general y especifica. El análisis genético utilizado fue el diseño Carolina del Norte II. Se estimaron de los efectos de ACG y ACE. La evaluación del material genético se llevó a cabo en el ciclo de primavera de 2015, bajo un diseño de bloques al azar con dos repeticiones y veinte cruzas por bloque, en el campo experimental de la Universidad Autónoma Agraria Antonio Narro, Unidad Laguna localizado en la región agrícola de la Comarca Lagunera. Se midieron datos de floración masculina (FM) y femenina(FF), altura de planta (AP) y mazorca (AM), aspecto de mazorca (AsMz), diámetro (DMz), longitud (LMz) y Número de hileras por mazorca (HMz), granos por hilera (GH) y rendimiento de grano (Rend). Los resultados indicaron que la cruza 2x28 fue la de mayor rendimiento de grano, seguida de las cruzas 2x6, 1x27 y 3x25. Machos y Hembras en siete de las diez variables incluyendo rendimiento, supone una mayor relevancia en los efectos aditivos. En ACE, las cruzas con efectos positivos y significativos por orden de importancia fueron: 3x25, 2x26, 1x27, 3x23, 2x28 y 3x28 para el carácter rendimiento de grano.
