Transfer of delayed-type hypersensitivity to Candida albicans or Sporothrix schenkii and protection against experimental candidiasis with murine-Transfer Factor.

Abstract

Candida albicansまたはSporothrix schenkii免疫JCL-ICRマウスの脾細胞を凍結融解により破壊し抽出した透析性物質(Transfer Factor: TF)を非免疫マウスの腹腔内投与することにより,24時間で抗原特異的な遅延型過敏症反応(DTH)が受身伝達される。DTHは足蹠反応の肥厚ならびに組織学的検査によつて確認した。さらに,TF投与マウスに,Candida albicansの2.9 LD50を静脈内接種し,21日間の生存率を調べた。TF投与マウスは,非免疫TF投与マウスに比べ有意に高い生存率(P<0.01)を示した。また,約1/10 LD50静脈内接種し,48時間後の肺,脾,腎の接種菌のcolony forming units (CFU)を調べた。TF投与マウスに比べ,Candida albicansのCFUの減少(P<0.01)を認めた。
