Abstract

1. ネズミチフス菌LT-2株および黄色ブドウ球菌209P株で,rifampicin (RFP)耐性の上昇は,ストレプトマイシン型を示した。2. ネズミチフス菌LT-2株におけるone-step RFP高度耐性菌の出現頻度は約10-8,黄色ブドウ球菌209P株では約10-7であつた。3. LT-2株に紫外線を照射するとRFP高度耐性菌の出現頻度は高くなるが,形質発現にかなりの時間を要するので,劣性変異と考えられる。4. LT-2株,209P株ともに,one-step RFP高度耐性菌は比較的高頻度にRFP耐性を失う。5. LT-2のone-step RFP高度耐性菌をEDTAで処理したが,この処理によつてRFP耐性形質を失うものはみられなかつた。したがつて本実験に使用したone-step RFP高度耐性株はすべて,細胞膜の透過性の低下によるものではないと考えられる。紫外線照射したLT-2株からのone-step RFP高度耐性菌の検出に対してもEDTAはほとんど影響を与えなかつた。6. LT-2株,209P株ともに,野生型に比較してone-step RFP高度耐性菌は増殖速度の低下を示した。7. LT-2株,209P株のone-step RFP高度耐性菌のマウスに対する毒力は,ともにwt株に比べて低かつた。8. 209P株におけるα溶血毒産生能,コアグラーゼ産生能,黄色色素産生能は,いずれもone-step RFP高度耐性菌では,野生型よりも低かつた。
