Abstract

O avanço na Terapia Antirretroviral (TARV) no tratamento do HIV revolucionou o atendimento e qualidade de vida dos pacientes infectados e aumentou substancialmente a sobrevida. Entretanto, o aumento da sobrevida dos pacientes HIV-positivo em uso da TARV é acompanhado de complicações tanto relacionadas à replicação do vírus HIV quanto aos efeitos colaterais das drogas utilizadas. Este estudo visa obter a correlação entre deficiência de 25-OHD e disglicemia nos pacientes com sorologia positiva para vírus HIV e que fazem uso de TARV. Foram analisados 187 prontuários de pacientes acompanhados pelo endocrinologista no Serviço de Atendimento Especializado(SAE) do município de São José do Rio Preto/SP, sendo que todos possuíam dosagem de 25-OHD e dados quanto glicose. Estes foram divididos de acordo com o grupo de drogas utilizadas. Foram considerados somente os grupos TARV 1(IP + ITRN) e TARV 2(ITRN + ITRNN). O restante foi desconsiderado devido o baixo número de pacientes por TARV. Do total de pacientes, 45,9% apresentaram índices de 25-OHD < 30ng/mL e 46,5% apresentaram algum tipo de alteração da glicose. Quando realizada a análise estatística destas variáveis separadamente por grupo de TARV, não observamos correlação estatisticamente significante entre deficiência de 25-OHD e disglicemia no grupo TARV 1 (p = 0,073). Também não encontramos correlação significante no grupo TARV 2 (p = 0,74). Este estudo sugere que a divergência de resultados quando comparado a outros estudos pode ser fruto das características geográficas do município de São José do Rio Preto/SP dentre outros fatores.
