Abstract

Yeni teknolojilerin gelişimi ve değişimi ile birlikte günlük hayatın vazgeçilmezi haline gelen sosyal medyanın, gücü ve etkisi yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Sosyal medyanın etkilediği alanlardan birisi de haberciliktir. Sosyal medya haberlerinin geleneksel medyada kimi zaman ülke gündemini kimi zaman dünya gündemini etkilediği görülmektedir. Bu noktadan hareketle sosyal medya kaynaklı haberlerin geleneksel haber mecralarında ne sıklıkla yer aldığının araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmanın amacına ulaşmak için geleneksel haber mecralarında sosyal medya kaynaklı olayların kullanımı, nicel araştırma tekniği olan içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir.
