Abstract

Petit pays très attractif, le Grand-Duché de Luxembourg accroît sa population essentiellement grâce à l'immigration. Italiens, Portugais, Français et Belges constituent plus des deux tiers des étrangers résidant au Luxembourg. S'y ajoutent, depuis 1974, un nombre croissant de travailleurs frontaliers, surtout français. Cette forte immigration modifie la composition et la répartition de la population, dans le Gutland mais aussi, depuis peu, dans l'Oesling.
