Sur quelques karsts de Serbie, au voisinage du Danube. Leurs rapports avec l'évolution du bassin pannonien

Abstract

Summary. — This note has been produced thanks to J. Cvijic' Institute (Beograd) and with work and help of C.S. Mine'. It deals with three types of karsts : — dolines table-lands, South Belgrade, in the superior Cretaceous or in sarmatians limestones, covered by thin deposits (sand, loess...) ; — the karstic basins, situated near the great fault of Ridanj-Krepoljin. They are paleokarsts under miocene clay and sand, partly exhumed and showing a new karstic evolution (neo-karsts in paleokarsts) ; — the Miroc' karstic table-land, dominating the Danube canyon ; its active evolution (forest site with great and deep dolines) is bound to the mountainous plio-quaternary uplift (natural bridges problem) and the Iron Gates deepening. Only a detailled study of the terraces deposits of the Kladovo region would allow to precise the stages evolution.
