Les intérieurs de Hindeloopen et d'Amager : deux exemples d'un phénomène muséographique

Abstract

Dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle un nouveau phénomène est apparu dans plusieurs musées européens : la reconstitution d'un intérieur paysan ou bourgeois. Dans la première moitié du XXe siècle ces intérieurs constituaient un des principaux attraits de nombreux musées, surtout des musées d'art populaire, mais ces dernières années ils ont été remplacés par des expositions plus modernes. L'importance accordée autrefois à ces intérieurs justifie une recherche sur leur valeur muséographique et historique. Cet article traite de l'histoire de deux intérieurs: l'intérieur de Hindeloopen, de la province de Frise aux Pays-Bas, et l'intérieur de l'île d'Amager, près de Copenhague. Ces deux intérieurs n'ont pas seulement joué un rôle important dans leur pays respectif mais ils ont eu une influence muséographique significative à l'étranger.
