Taxons nouveaux dans le genre Arceuthobium M. Bieb. (Viscaceae, Santalales)

Abstract

Une nouvelle espèce de gui nain du genévrier est décrite en Provence : Arceuthobium gambyi Fridl. Ses tiges, fleurs et graines sont plus grandes que celles d’A. oxycedri (DC.) M. Bieb. Ses fleurs sont tri-ou tétramères, vs. dimères ou trimères chez A. oxycedri. Leur quantité d’ADN 2C diffère : 2C = 20 pg chez A. gambyi et 2C = 18,2 pg chez A. oxycedri. Endémique ibéro-provençal, A. gambyi parasite Juniperus phoenicea et rarement J. oxycedrus, tandis que A. oxycedri semble inconnu sur J. phoenicea. Deux taxons infra-spécifiques sont décrits en Espagne (A. gambyi var. fagcii Fridl.) et en Algérie (A. oxycedri var. shadii Fridl.).
