Abstract

Presentación de la prensa periódica del siglo XVIII (hasta 1807) en que alguna importancia tuvo la crítica literaria, que entonces era esencialmente crítica teatral. Aunque pueda parecemos el pensamiento de los periodistas escasamente relevante y original, hay que reconocer que se esforzaron notablemente por contribuir a una construcción teórica, a una reglamentación racionalista y a una definición genérica muy propias de la institución de la literatura en la época considerada.
