Abstract

El cantar « Madre, la mi madre, / guardas me poneys » se encuentra en los dos estados sucesivos del Celoso Extremeño. También aparece en la jornada tercera de La Entretenida. Se comparan aquí estas tres versiones, en un cotejo que se apoya, por un lado en los varios contextos en que se sitúa este cantar en la obra de Cervantes, por otro lado en el conjunto de las glosas que, a prinpios del siglo XVII, testimonian su boga y su difusión.
