Abstract

A través de la comparación entre dos crónicas escritas en la primera mitad del siglo XIII, la «Crónica latina de los reyes de Castilla», atribuida al obispo Juan de Osma, y «De rebus Hispaniae», escrita por el arzobispo de Toledo Rodrigo Jiménez de Rada, se analizará la caracterización de las virtudes regias y la manera en que algunas de ellas adquieren en algunas crónicas una importancia fundamental en la constitución de las relaciones políticas en los reinos.
