L’ovipositeur et sa signification dans la taxonomie de la tribu des Asidini (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae)

Abstract

Les genitalia femelles sont de plus en plus utilises en systematique entomologique et, en particulier, l’ovipositeur. Dans les publications abordant ce sujet, on constate que, pour la tribu des Asidini (Tenebrionidae, Pimeliinae), les descriptions de cet organe sont souvent incompletes ou meme absentes et que, dans le premier cas, il existe un manque de consensus dans le lexique employe par les differents auteurs. Cet article tente donc de proposer une description plus complete de l’ovipositeur, en signalant les divers elements utiles dans la systematique des Asidini et en proposant une terminologie plus precise.
