Abstract

Resume. — L'etude anthropometrique de 1.051 sujets (693 hommes et 358 femmes), d'origine bearnaise au moins jusqu'a la seconde generation, permet de donner le signalement moyen de la population qui occupe la partie orientale des Pyrenees-Atlantiques, voisine des Basques localises a l'Ouest du meme departement. Ce sont des individus de haute stature, au buste assez long et au bassin plutot large ; leur tete est brachycephale, avec une face et un nez etroits.
