Adolescence, rapport au savoir et sens de l’expérience scolaire en milieux populaires

Abstract

La recherche présentée ici vise à mieux comprendre, à partir d’entretiens cliniques menés auprès d’adolescents de milieux populaires, comment le sens de l’expérience scolaire se forme et se transforme, se développe ou se perd, au cœur des rapports que les sujets peuvent nouer entre activité et subjectivité, entre histoire scolaire et histoire familiale. Visant à identifier des processus pouvant rendre compte de trajectoires de réussite scolaire statistiquement exceptionnelles, ou au contraire de différentes modalités de difficultés scolaires (difficultés cognitives, difficultés de comportement), elle invite à une interrogation des mesures pédagogiques couramment préconisées dans les quartiers et établissements dits «en difficulté», ainsi qu’à une discussion théorique et épistémologique des rapports entre processus sociaux et processus subjectifs.
