La memoria en imágenes : una lectura de La historia oficial

Abstract

« La mémoire en images : lecture de La Historia oficial, film de Luis Puenzo, Argentine, 1985 ». Le concept de « mémoire culturelle » (Jésus Martin-Barbero) et celui de « reconversion culturelle » (Nestor Garcia Canclini) sont ici repris pour explorer la construction de l'histoire et du sens du film de Luis Puenzo La Historia Oficial. Cela permet de montrer l'intérêt du réalisateur pour des stratégies symboliques (usage de la mémoire, manipulation, mémoire rémanente) au moment du retour à la démocratie et la démocratisation culturelle, après la dictature militaire en Argentine, c'est-à-dire durant le gouvernement démocratique du Président Raúl Alfonsin (1983-1989) et d'envisager leur projection au long des années 1990. Une attention particulière est portée à la représentation filmique du mouvement de protestation sociale et politique des Mères de la Plaza de Mayo (les « folles » de la Plaza de Mayo), que l'on pourrait considérer comme une « stratégie condescendante », selon la formule de P. Bourdieu.
