Abstract

Os Projetos de Educação Ambiental - PEAs configuram um potencial de construção das bases para o exercício do controle social na elaboração e execução de políticas públicas. Partindo desse pressuposto, este estudo focaliza o PEA Pescarte, uma medida de mitigação exigida pelo Licenciamento Ambiental Federal, conduzido pelo IBAMA na Bacia de Campos – RJ. Mais especificamente, neste artigo, são apresentados o processo de criação e evolução da Agenda Socioambiental, bem como os seus resultados conquistados que se traduzem na ocupação de espaços participativos pelos representantes das comunidades da pesca artesanal.
