Skrivekår i profesjonsutdanning

Abstract

Studier ved Hogskolen i Oslo (HiO) 2010/2011 viser at studenter i liten grad har utbytte av den ordinaere skriveveiledningen de mottar. Veiledningen bidrar verken til okt skrivekompetanse eller okt faglig forstaelse. Artikkelforfatterne har fulgt bade studenter og laerere gjennom deres skriveprosess. I lys av forskernes egen skriveprosess sammenholdes data fra laereres tekstproduksjon med studentenes skrivehistorier og deres uttrykte behov for veiledning. Funn viser at bade studenter og laerere er usikre og famlende i sin fagskriving. Studentene onsker en veiledning som fremmer faglig laering og tekstutvikling, men laerernes tekstkompetanse synes ikke a vaere tilstrekkelig til a mote dette behovet. Studien synliggjor nodvendigheten av storre fokus pa tekst- og skrivekompetanse hos bade faglaerere og studenter. Artikkelen er ment som et innlegg i debatten om hvordan vi kan mote utfordringer knyttet til studenters skriving i hoyere utdanning og hvilke faktorer som ma vaere til stede for at skriveprosessen skal vaere faglig meningsfull, stimulerende og fore til laering hos studentene.
