Evolución de la industria del vestido en Yucatán en el marco de las cadenas globales de valor

Abstract

El presente artículo utiliza el marco conceptual de las Cadenas Globales de Valor para analizar la evolución de la industria del vestido en Yucatán en los últimos 15 años. Nuestro objetivo es mostrar las implicaciones que ha tenido la inserción del territorio yucateco en la cadena global de suministro de prendas de vestir hacia Estados Unidos en la evolución de la industria de vestido local y los retos que esta rama industrial enfrenta ante los cambios estructurales de la industria del vestido mundial.
