Gambaran Penggunaan Food Choice Questionnaire Dalam Pengkajian Risiko Diabetes: Scoping Review

Abstract

Pemilihan konsumsi makanan merupakan proses seseorang dalam memilih makanan yang akan dikonsumsi. Pemilihan makanan berasal dari pengaruh berbagai faktor, salah satunya karakteristik individu. Mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia memilih makanan tanpa memperhatikan masalah kesehatan, sehingga menyebabkan timbulnya diabetes. Diabetes merupakan penyakit kronis yang terjadi ketika pankreas tidak dapat memproduksi insulin dalam jumlah cukup atau ketika tubuh tidak dapat menggunakan insulin yang diproduksi secara efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan instrumen pemilihan konsumsi makanan dalam pengkajian risiko diabetes. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu literature review dari database Pubmed dan Scopus dengan kriteria 5 tahun terakhir, full text, yang membahas pemilihan makanan, kuesioner, dan diabetes. Hasil analisis dari 3 artikel didapatkan bahwa penggunaan instrumen pemilihan konsumsi makanan dengan FCQ (Food Choice Questionnaire) dapat memberikan gambaran terkait keputusan dan motivasi seseorang dalam proses pemilihan konsumsi makanan, sehingga dapat memberikan dampak terhadap munculnya berbagai masalah kesehatan pada seorang individu khususnya penyakit diabetes. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan FCQ penting dilakukan untuk memberikan gambaran terkait risiko diabetes.
